Remember, as we stated earlier, that if you decide to lease, that the area is very walkable. This is one of the few places around Houston that residents won’t need a vehicle. If you do need some transportation the light rail runs south through Midtown until it stops near the Texas Medical Center.
Downtown is also home to several event venues. The Alley Theatre boasts stunning performances. BBVA Compass Stadium is home to the Houston Dynamo. Discovery Green is a nearby expansive 12-acre park with art installations. It’s centered near both sports arenas and the George R Brown Convention Center. And don’t forget about the House of Blues!
