Terms of Service

Rentkidz is an apartment locating company that services the state of Texas.  All of the “locators” are licensed real estate agents. We are not affiliated with any apartment community. The apartment communities are not responsible for paying any rebates back to the renters we send them. We offer rebates back to the vast majority of our customers.  Read more about how you can qualify for your rebate.

To Receive your $150 rebate:

* Sign a lease term for 12 months or longer. The total commission from the property must be at least $1500. If the total commission received is between $750-$1499 the total referral fee will be 10% of the total commission.

* Include “Rentkidz” and the name of the agent that assisted the customer on all guest cards and lease applications.

* Rentkidz reserves the right to issue a reduced rebate based on the total referral from the property.

To Receive your $50 rebate:

* The total commission from the property must be between $500 and $749.

* Include “Rentkidz”  and the name of the agent that assisted the customer on all guest cards and lease applications.

* If total commissions received from the property are less than $500, a rebate will equal 10% of the total commission paid out.

Disclaimer: 

  1. No rebate will be issued when Rentkidz total referral fee is less than $101. Some properties are not locator friendly and don’t reward our locators.
  2. You must not break your lease.
  3. You must not be moving from a sister property or be considered a “transfer” or transferring from within the same property.
  4. The property must have been referred to you by one of our licensed agents or from our apartment website.
  5. You will be paid after Rentkidz has been paid on the lease. How long can this take? This usually is about 60 days. Apartments want to make sure you don’t break your lease and want you to make a couple rent payments. However, some properties pay much faster.
  6. In the unlikely event that Rentkidz must retain an attorney, litigate, or send a demand letter to the property owner or management company to receive payment, no rebate or cash gift will be issued. This is highly unlikely, but on the rare occasion, properties refuse to award commission owed.
  7. If not deposited, rebate checks will be cancelled after 90 days of check date.
  8. Use of the Website at Your Own Risk.  When you use our website, you do so at your own risk. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any damage to your computer or related system, or any loss of data, or other type of harm that you may come across by accessing our website.
  9. Links to Third-Party Websites. The Website may contain links to websites operated by third parties other than Rentkidz.com.  These hyperlinks are for informational purposes only.
  10. Rentkidz.com does not control such websites and is not responsible for any content contained therein. Rentkidz.com’s inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.  If you do make the decision to access any of these third party sites linked that are linked on our website, once again, you do this at your own risk.
  11. Limitation on Liability. Neither Rentkidz.com, its parents, partners, affiliates, or subsidiaries, or any of their respective members, directors, employees, agents, vendors, independent contractors, or suppliers (collectively hereinafter “Rentkidz parties”) will be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, consequential or incidental damages including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, loss or damage to data arising out of, based upon, or resulting from the use or inability to use the Website or any Rentkidz.com advertisement, these Terms of Use, any transaction between users and/or lessors, or damages from the use of or reliance on the information present on this Website, even if Rentkidz parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  12. Rentkidz offers third party data that it supplies to its customers. This includes items like apartment specials, availability, and other data made available through our website and through the assistance of our agents. Although Rentkidz makes every reasonable effort to make sure data is accurate, we cannot claim 100% accuracy to the validity of this data.
  13. Resolution of Disputes. If a dispute arises between you and Rentkidz.com, our goal is to provide you with a neutral and cost-effective means to resolve this dispute in a timely manner.  You and Rentkidz.com agree that we will resolve any claim or controversy at law or equity that arises out of this Agreement or our services (a “Claim”) in accordance with one of the subsections below or to terms we have come into agreement in writing. We strongly encourage you to contact us by phone at 713-636-9748 Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through mediation or arbitration.
  14. Acknowledgments: By using Rentkidz service you agree to all guidelines, disclaimers, and terms of Rentkidz.
  15. Indemnity. If you opt to use this website then you will Indemnify and hold us (and our officers, directors, MEMBERS, agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, and employees) (collectively hereinafter “Indemnified Parties”), harmless from any claim or demand, liability, cost, charge, penalties, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, and other costs of collection, incurred by the Indemnified Parties from any loss.
